About this repair
A loose, stiff, cracked, or broken laptop hinge can make the screen unstable and may cause additional damage each time the laptop is opened or closed. Heartland Computer provides professional laptop hinge diagnosis, repair, and replacement services in Omaha and Council Bluffs.
Our technicians inspect the hinges, display assembly, laptop housing, mounting points, and internal cables to determine the full extent of the damage. After completing the evaluation, we explain the available repair options and provide an estimated cost before proceeding with additional work.
Our hinge evaluation may include:
- Left and right hinge inspection
- Hinge-tension and alignment testing
- Display back-cover and bezel inspection
- Palm-rest and bottom-case inspection
- Internal screw and mounting-point inspection
- Display and video-cable evaluation
- Webcam and microphone-cable inspection
- Wireless antenna-wire inspection
- Screen-function and image-quality testing
- Inspection for impact, pressure, or liquid damage
