Do you charge diagnostic fee?

For general diagnostic for regular workstation (not a gaming desktop), and laptop, we do not charge fee. However, if we need to perform motherboard level diagnostic by removing back panel and swapping major component such as hard drive, video card or motherboard and re-installing operating system, we do charge diagnostic fee $35.00 - $65.00. If customer decide to fix after diagnostic is completed, we apply diagnostic fee toward repair. For all gaming desktop system; we do charge $95.00 diagnostic fee, and all gaming laptop system, we charge $65 diagnostic fee. For all MAC system, we charge $35.00 - $65.00 diagnostic fee. If customer decide to repair gaming system after diagnostic, we waive or apply diagnostic fee toward repair.

General diagnostic (Free of charge): 

Check operating system functionality, browser functionality, memory, hard drive info in BIOS, small program glitches, and window update as well as driver status.

Fee base diagnostic:

Swapping major components such as motherboard, processor, power supply, hard drive, video card, installing fresh operating system in one of our hard drive.

Yes; we do provide support to Windows and MAC operating system.

What kind of payment system do you accept? If you accept credit card, do you charge extra fee?

Yes; we do sell new and used parts as well as computer services. If you have any questions, feel free to call us.

What is your company's return policy?

Any unopened item 24 hours (Open item subject to 20% restocking fee), store credit 14 days, and return for repair or replacement 30 days (Product may carry standard manufacture warranty). No refund or exchange on special order item. Any open software cannot be returned or exchanged due to copy write law.

What kind of service warranty does Heartland Computer provide?

Any service work we do at Heartland Computer, we give worry free 90 days guarantee for similar problem. We want our customer to be happy with our service and support. If we clean your computer by removing any infection such as virus, malware, spyware, and root kits,  we will give you full 90 days guarantee. Within 90 days if your computer get infected with similar malware, you don’t pay us dime. We will clean your computer for free of charge. Your satisfaction is our number 1 priority.

Note: 90 days warranty is covered for the same work we have done in the past. If you are not clear about our warranty plan, please give us a call or see us at the store. 

Can Heartland Computer build Gaming or Custom System if we bring our own parts?

Yes; we are happy to build any gaming system or custom desktop even you bring your own parts. However, all warranty must be from manufacture only. If you build with our parts, we give full one year complete warranty.

Is there any discount on service work for senior citizen, student or military veteran?

Yes; we give 15% discount on all our service work for our new customers, senior citizen, disabled, or military veteran. Please mention this ad. and take immediate 15% service discount.

Does Heartland Computer provides house call or onsite call?

Yes; Heartland computer gladly provide house call or onsite call to resident or business customers in surrounding community. Heartland Computer also provide free pick up and delivery within 5 miles radios from Omaha and Council Bluffs metro center. If you can not dropped or pick up your system, don’t worry. We can dispatched our technician right on to your door step.

Does Heartland Computer provides service for resident users and business users?

Yes; we provide services to both kind of customers (ressident and business users).

How much do you charge for onsite call to resident and business customers?

When we do onsite call to resident, we charge $65 hourly and for business customer $95 hourly. We do charge minimum 1 hour fee for all onsite call and after hour we charge 15 minute incriment. If we have to trave more than 5 miles, we charge 50 cents per mile charge. We also provide upto 200 miles radious onsite support and world-wide remote support to our customers for any IT related support. If travel time required more than 30 minutes, we charge $65 hourly travel time for business and ressident both.

Do you provide remote support to resident or business customers? If you do, how much do you charge?

Yes; we do provide remote IT support to both business and resident customer and we charge $75 per hour for business customers with 30 minute incriment. We do charge minimum $35 for remote support. For all resident users, we charge $50 hourly and $25 minimum with 15 minute incriment. If you have any questions, give us a call. 

Do you provide urgent onsite IT Support to business or resident customers?

Yes; we do provide urgent IT support to both business and resident customers. We do charge $120 per hour for business users for all urgent onsite IT support. Urgent call means, we send our tech within 2 hour of advance notice. For all resident users, we charge $75 hourly.

How much do you charge to assemble gaming system?

We charge $185 (Without Hydro cooler) and $275 (With Hydro cooler) to assemble gaming system which includes following:

  • Assemble all hardware (Motherboard, processor, GPU, Cooler, Wifi Card, Power Supply, Memory, Hard Drive)
  • Program BIOS and update if necessory
  • Install Operating System
  • Cable Management
  • Benchmarking Test
