Over time, malware has grown increasingly sophisticated, fed by the creativity of hackers seeking to devise ever more damaging and difficult-to-detect viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware, adware, ransomware, and other forms of destructive code.

Slow Booting Time and Lagging
A slow-running computer is usually the first sign of an infected computer. When malware infect your system, your system resources are used 100%. Memory, CPU, or hard drive reaches 100% of its capacity. Once one of your system resources or components reaches 100%, your system gets busy and is not able to respond. These malware not only slow your system down, they are also destructive. They collect all kinds of information from your system and transmit that information to the people who made them.
Freezes or Crashes
Your system may freeze or crash suddenly and display a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) message.
Suspicious Pop-up Ads or Security Messages
Your system may pop up suspicious messages randomly. They appear to be legit messages to normal users but they are not. Please read carefully those messages before you click. If you see suspicious pop-ups, do not click them.
Ransom Demands
As soon as your system starts and gets to the Windows desktop, you may see a screen full of messages demanding ransom. You won't be able to do anything, your whole screen is covered by these kinds of messages. If you see a similar situation, please shut down your system and take it to a computer repair center to clean it up. You may not be able to click anywhere except that message window. If that is the case, shut down your system by pushing and holding the power button for 5–10 seconds. Do not call the appeared phone number in that message box or click anything.
